.Broad public / citizens, including all individuals who are not directly involved in the development of nanotechnologies, are the ultimate users / consumers of the results of nanotechnologies, incorporated into every day goods.

The general public´s views, perceptions, concerns and needs regarding the use of nanotechnologies, therefore, are crucial to be heard and considered when designing policies and conducting research and innovation into these technologies so that products embedding nanomaterials are more socially, morally and ethically acceptable

:Through its activities, NANO2ALL will

.Help citizens better understand nanotechnologies and their applications -

.Help them formulate better their opinion about the risks and benefits arising from the use of nanotechnologies -

.Offer them the opportunity to get involved in debates about such issues and gain insight into the views of other groups -

.Channel their perceptions, concerns and expectations towards policy makers and researchers, enabling to better define socially acceptable and responsible nanotechnology applications -
