On 27 October 2017, MALSCH, partner in NANO2ALL, gave a keynote presentation on “Responsible Research and Innovation” (RRI) during an Info Session organised by INCOBRA at PUCRS in Porto Alegre, Brazil, providing an overview of past and ongoing EU funded projects in RRI, including Brazilian partners. She stressed the need for continuity and building upon results from earlier projects.
The multi-stakeholder dialogue takes place in the Bloomfield Science Museum, Jerusalem.
These dialogues will discuss how societal values, needs and concerns can be better reflected through an increased uptake of societal engagement in R&I in the area of nanomedicine, nanotextiles and nanotechnology applied to brain-computer interface.
Nano2All will be represented in the Info Sessions of the INCOBRA project. Dr Ineke Malsch, partner in Nano2All, will be talking about "RRI state-of-the-art: where does it come from? Where does it take?", "RRI in Europe: trends, challenges and opportunities" and "RRI in the context of EU-Brazil cooperation: what is at stake?" as a European expert in RRI in the second edition of INCOBRA's Info Sessions.
